Alpe Adria Cycle Route: a 360° guide from Salzburg to Grado

The Ciclovia Alpe Adria Radweg is the cycle path connecting Salzburg to Grado — a route over 400 km long, divided into eight stages, and managed through cross-border cooperation between Austria and Italy.

After winning an international public tender to create the new website, IKON redesigned the entire user experience with a focus on the needs of cycle tourists: on one hand, providing detailed and up-to-date information about the route; on the other, helping users plan their trip by combining sport, relaxation, and cultural experiences.

At the heart of the project lies the interactive mapping section: a detailed map that illustrates the entire route divided into stages and enriched with numerous points of interest. Users can also view the elevation profile, road surface types, and download GPX track files.The map includes information on historical, artistic, and natural landmarks, accommodations, and specialized services such as repair shops, bike rentals, and transport connections.

The website is entirely powered by Hyve360, IKON’s Digital Experience Platform, which includes features specifically designed for the tourism sector.
