Works begin on the new Redipuglia Great War Museum: IKON to design the immersive exhibition
Construction has officially begun on the new Great War Museum in Redipuglia, a nationally significant project promoted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Defence. As part of the initiative led by IMPRENDO ITALIA SpA, IKON has been appointed, in collaboration with Decima Srl, to design and implement the digital and multimedia solutions.
The project aims to transform the museum experience through the integration of immersive technologies, blending historical accuracy with contemporary communication styles. The goal of the multimedia design is to turn historical memory into a dynamic and engaging journey, specifically crafted to resonate with younger generations.
Technological innovation serves as the key tool to move beyond traditional exhibition constraints. Through advanced digital installations, the historical narrative transcends the display case to become a multi-sensory experience, ensuring that the value of remembrance remains vivid and accessible over time.
The Redipuglia site represents a benchmark project in digital heritage, where IKON applies its expertise to enhance one of the most iconic sites of national history and memory.
