IKON presents the new immersive exhibition for the Padriciano Museum
IKON has officially presented the design for the new exhibition at the National Museum – Padriciano Refugee Collection Centre. The project, unveiled in the presence of institutional authorities, aims to transform the site into a next-generation museum experience, where immersive technology and sound design will give a new voice to the memory of the Exodus.
The project’s goal is to move beyond traditional museography to create a dynamic journey that speaks through contemporary languages. Through advanced immersive installations, the history of Padriciano will transcend paper documentation to become a living narrative, specifically designed to engage and resonate with younger generations.
The integration of spatial design and digital solutions will restore depth and context to one of the most symbolic sites in the history of the eastern border. In this narrative ecosystem, technology serves as a tool for accessibility and awareness, ensuring that the value of historical memory is transformed into a shared multi-sensory experience.
The project marks another milestone in IKON’s commitment to enhancing national historical heritage through digital innovation and immersive storytelling.
