HiSECTION
Illustrate the complexity thanks to interactive 3D
The interactive three-dimensional representation of products and processes succeeds in the difficult task of making even the most complex contents comprehensible. This is the case of Danieli Automation, which relied on IKON to illustrate HiSECTION, an advanced sensor system installed on the production lines of steel plants.
The application is available for both PC and mobile devices and offers a three-dimensional model that can be fully explored in all its parts. The sales staff uses the app to present the product to customers, while installers and maintenance technicians use it to optimize the assembly and repair phases, effectively replacing the paper manual. The application also integrates a feature that allows you to order spare parts online.
User Interface
The user interface, optimized for touch devices as well, has been designed to allow quick and efficient access to all the application's features.
3D modeling
The 3D model was generated from the 2D CAD files provided by the customer. The number of polygons has been optimized to obtain the best balance between visual quality and fluidity of the simulation. Materials and lighting have been taken care of to ensure a high level of realism.
Animations
The app offers various animated sequences that illustrate not only the three-dimensional object exploded in all its components, but also the individual assembly and disassembly phases necessary to install Hi Section or replace some of its components.
